Google has teamed up with Reliance Industries to expand its AI presence in India by offering 18 months of free AI Pro subscriptions to Jio 5G users. The plan includes access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, tools like Nano Banana and Veo 3.1, Notebook LM, and 2 TB of cloud storage, valued at around ₹35,100. The offer will initially target users aged 18 to 25 before rolling out to all Jio subscribers nationwide.
Beyond consumers, Reliance’s AI subsidiary will partner with Google Cloud to broaden access to tensor processing units (TPUs) in India and develop AI agents for local enterprises. This collaboration aims to strengthen the country’s AI infrastructure and make advanced AI tools more accessible to businesses and developers.
The partnership underscores India’s growing role as a key AI market, attracting global players like Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic. By bundling premium AI features with Jio services, Google and Reliance hope to accelerate adoption and position India as an AI powered economy.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang visited South Korea for the first time in 15 years to announce new AI partnerships with Samsung, Hyundai Motor, SK, and Naver. During the APEC Summit 2025, Nvidia and the South Korean government agreed to expand the nation’s AI infrastructure, with over 260,000 Nvidia GPUs powering public AI projects and industry specific applications.
Samsung will build an AI mega factory with Nvidia and co-develop next gen HBM4 memory and AI-RAN networks with local telecoms. Hyundai and Nvidia will focus on autonomous mobility, smart factories, and robotics, supported by new AI research centers in Korea.
SK Group will create Asia’s first enterprise-led AI cloud, while Naver will develop a Physical AI platform for industrial use. Together, these collaborations position South Korea as a major hub for global AI innovation and highlight Nvidia’s growing role in driving AI driven industries.

Figma has bought the AI design startup Weavy, which makes tools for creating images and videos. The new team of 20 people from Tel Aviv will join Figma, and the product will now be called Figma Weave. The price of the deal was not shared, but Weavy had raised $4 million in June 2024.
Weavy lets users mix different AI models to make and edit pictures or videos. People can change lighting, colors, and angles using simple prompts. They can also combine different models to get the style or result they want.
For now, Weavy will stay as a separate product, but Figma plans to connect it more closely with its design tools later. This shows that Figma wants to grow in AI design, similar to other companies like Perplexity and Krea.
